Trying to cover a lot of the roulette table with multiple bets is an interesting idea but it's also one that doesn't overcome the odds of the game. I may as well be blunt here right away before we go any further; it's impossible to cover all of the table and profit on every single spin.
You can certainly 'win' on every spin but you would lose more than you would win. For example, you could bet on Red, Black and Zero at the same time. That would give you a win and a loss on every single spin and due to the in built odds and payouts, you would lose a lot more than you would win.
- 48.60% are the odds on a roulette table for a wide range of outside bets. For example, the bets including Even/Odd, Red/Black or Low/High offer the highest odds on roulette with European (48.60%) and American (47.40%) layout. These roulette betting.
- Betting Options for Online Roulette. There's no need to feel overwhelmed when you look at all the different betting options on a roulette table. When you break it down, it's actually pretty straightforward. Roulette bets are split into two groups: inside bets and outside bets. This simply refers to where the bets are placed on the table.
- Corner Bet – A bet on four numbers that make a square on the roulette table. For example, 1,2,4,5 is a Corner bet. 4 Number Bet – Bets on 0,1,2,3 at the same time. Only available on European and French roulette. 5 Number Bet – Bets on 0,00,1,2,3 at the same time. Only available on American roulette.
These are table bets on individual numbers, which represent specific sectors or areas of the physical roulette wheel. An example would be 0,32 and 15 which are all neighbouring numbers on the roulette wheel. If you are using a professional system, and these are definitively the best type of roulette bet, and in fact the only profitable roulette.
The best thing you can do is cover 'most' of the table and hope that it's your lucky day. These are the different ways of covering a large portion of the table.
Betting on 35 numbers – This is a risky way of covering a lot of the table. Obviously, if you bet £1 on 35 different numbers, your total outlay is £35. You will win more bets than you lose but the problem is that every win will only give you a £1 profit and every loss will be a £35 loss.
In order for this system to be a winner, you would need to have 36 wins for every loss and that isn't very likely to happen, especially over the long term of play.
Bet on 17 Splits – A Split is a bet between two numbers that are next to each other on the roulette table. By betting on 17 splits you're covering 34 numbers, just one less than betting on 35 numbers.
The advantage that this has over betting on 35 numbers is that you're only betting £17 to cover 34 numbers rather than £35 to cover £35. Your profit is still £1 when one of your splits comes up.
Bet on 11 Streets – A Street bet is a 3 number bet for numbers that are in a 'Street' on the roulette table. For example, 1,2,3 is a Street, so is 4,5,6 and so on. If you bet on 11 Streets at the same time you're covering 33 numbers.
Bet on 5 Double Streets (Lines) – A Double Street, also known as a Line, is 2 Streets together or another way of looking at it is half a Dozen. Betting on 5 at the same time will cover 30 numbers.
1-18 and third Dozen – With this method you bet £3 on the 1-18 even chance bet and £2 on the third Dozen. By doing this, you will win £1 when either of them hits. You cover a total of 30 numbers by doing this.
You can also flip this around and bet on the first Dozen and the 19-36 even chance bet instead. In essence, this style of betting is no different to betting on 5 double streets because they both bet £5 to win £6 back and they both cover 30 numbers.
4 Splits and 2 Columns – Another interesting way of covering a large section of the wheel. With this system you bet £5 on any of the two Columns. Then you bet £1 on four different Splits that are in the Column that you haven't bet on. By doing this, you will get a £1 profit every time your Columns hit and a nice £4 profit every time one of your Split bets hits.

Considering it's been around for hundreds of years, it's no surprise that many people have attempted to come up with various betting systems and betting strategies for the game of Roulette.

D'Alembert Betting System: Created by French mathematician Jean-Baptise le Rond d'Alembert, this is also known as the Pyramid betting system. This is a fun betting system, although is based purely on Gambler's Fallacy.
Dopey Betting System: This system was made famous due to the book by Andres Martinez, where he provided detail about the Dopey Betting System, an experimental roulette betting system.
Double Street Quad Strategy: This is a very interesting strategy which involves a betting pattern on two double streets, along with a quad or corner.
Don't Bet The Top Line: This strategy in roulette involves not betting the top line and dives into that.
Dozen Based Triple Martingale Betting System: Like many betting systems for Roulette, it's the Martingale with a twist. It focuses on the 'dozen' bets that you can make, and the progressions in betting you make are higher. Triple your initial stake.
Fibonacci Betting System: Taken from the Fibonacci Sequence from back in the 13th century, the Fibonacci Betting System is a very simple progressive betting to use, based on increments of the 2 prior numbers you bet with.
